Our School Council
We value and listen to feedback and suggestions from our learners
Two learners from Years 1 - 6 make up our School Council.
In September, learners and given an application form and encouraged to apply. Learners then stand up in front on their peers and explain what qualities they have that would make them suitable for this role. Candidates are elected to the council by their peers and teachers and serve for a period of one year.
Meetings take place termly with Miss Dicks, Headteacher. Following the meetings, minutes are displayed in school and on our website and representatives give feedback to their classes.
Year 5 School Councillors from Filton Hill also represent the school on the Olympus Trust Council, along with representatives from the other schools in the Trust.
