Our Neuro-Diverse Council
We are proud to introduce Filton Hill Primary School’s very first Neuro‑Diverse Council, led by our SENDCo, Miss Greenslade. A group of enthusiastic learners have been recruited to represent the voices of children across our school, ensuring that everyone’s opinions and ideas are heard, valued and acted upon.
The council has been created to celebrate the strengths and perspectives of neuro‑diverse learners, while also promoting understanding, inclusion and respect throughout our school community. Members will meet regularly to share their experiences, suggest improvements and help shape the way we support learning and wellbeing at Filton Hill.
By giving children a platform to express themselves and influence decision‑making, we aim to build confidence, encourage leadership and ensure that our school environment reflects the needs of all learners.
This is an exciting step forward in our commitment to nurturing individuality and creating a school where every child feels recognised, supported and empowered.
