Ofsted visited Filton Hill on the 11th July 2019 for a one day inspection. We had anticipated a two day inspection, but due to our SATs results being well above national for the last few years, they decided a one day inspection would be sufficient.
The school was previously judged to be GOOD in 2009 and 2013. This time, we were also awarded the GOOD rating, however, the inspector was very impressed with the school and felt significant progress has been made. Therefore, he recommended that the school’s next inspection will be a section 5 (two days) within the next two years and we are anticipating that the school will be judged outstanding.
